By planning and shopping for the week ahead, I can count on delicious food and nutrient dense "fuel" for optimal health! 23.10.22 | Sunday | Dutch baby with preserved and fresh peaches | Salad with a bit of leftover Thai chicken skewer meat, diced up. | Sticky Pork in lettuce cups with pickled onions & cucumbers, jicama & avocado. |
23.10.23 | Monday | Sauteed asparagus with warmed leftover sticky pork, and a soft boiled egg. | Leftover Chicken Cacciatore (from my mom!) with raw zuchini sticks on side | Garlic Shrimp & confit tomatoes with homemade pasta. Also made key-lime pie, after purchasing some beautiful key limes at the Farmer's Market! |
23.10.24 | Tuesday | Carrot-Ginger smoothie with chia seeds | Green salad with a variety of microgreens, olives & shredded hard boiled egg | Dinner out with my sister-in-law, Suzanne. Thompson 105 Woodfired Grill - Brisket sliders and a side salad. :-) |
23.10.25 | Wednesday | Kale-peach-Flaxseed Smoothie GF/DF/V | Homemade tomatillo and tomato soup | Used the leftover soup from lunch to make Chicken Tika Masala. Grilled tumeric cauliflower and asparagus on side. |
23.10.26 | Thursday | hard boiled egg and fresh berries | Had planned on having leftovers from dinner last night...but fridge was at 60 degrees and felt like it had been that way for awhile...tossed almost everything inside. :-( | Had a later lunch (& early dinner) about 3:30pm. DF Tomato & Prosciutto Pizza. |
23.10.27 | Friday | cucumber, spinach and pineapple smoothie | Chicken Sandwich...with lots of pickles! :-) | Out to dinner with my brother, David, at Bar Cena. Shared the popover, crispy potato pave and muffuletta croquettes. All were absolutely delicious! Drinks: Ace High (loved it!) & Old Fashioned |
