Split brekakfast with my mom at the Old Town Farmer's Market.

Sunday

Slice of sourdough with asparagus shavings, olive oil and lemon juice on top, broiled.

Raw veggies (from the Rooted Vine homestead!) with homemade guacamole

Lamb & WinterSquash Lasagne with homemade mozzarella

Monday

Plain yogurt with banana and blueberries, & a drizzle of local honey

Pickle, Prosciutto and Swiss sandwich. (Heavy on the homemade pickles!)

Small Shaved Watermelon Radish Salad (not very hungry after having a big sandwich for lunch!)

Tuesday

poached egg over asparagus

Mexican Chicken Soup, from freezer

Steamed Fish & Bok Choy with Chile-ginger broth

Wednesday

Leafy greens smoothie with apple slices and a spoonful of almond butter

Quinoa and squash salad

Meatballs over a variety of roasted veggies. And made 3 orange cake layers (Julia Child's recipe) for tomorrow night.

Just coffee this morning

Reuben Sandwich at LaGrande Orange (working lunch meeting)

CM2 Pizza takeout. And made the buttercream orange frosting (Julia Child's recipe) for our youngest's birthday - sweet 16! (family celebration is one day late)

Friday

Egg over warmed homemade yogurt with chile glaze on top

half of a kabocha squash & some cauliflower florets, roasted. Tahini & pomegranate drizzle.

Salad with beets and toasted pumpkin seeds

Note: The oven mitts were a gift from my daughter who purchased them on her honeymoon this past October, in Italy. They were so pretty that I decided to frame them. So this week, I did that...and hung it above the cabinets in my kitchen. These mitts bring me joy every time I look at them...not just because they're so pretty, but because they were selected by my daughter for me and carried through Italy on her honeymoon.
