Blood orange & beet smoothie (all ingredients from my mom's garden & orchard!)

Little piece of homemade lamb lasagne, pulled from the freezer

Potato wrapped halibut, roasted carrots and crispy Brussels sprouts

Sunday (my oldest "child" turns 31 today...can't believe it! He and his wife live in Baltimore...so far away!)

Egg and cheese "Everything" Bagel

Happy hour at Eddie V's - 2 raw oysters, 2 oysters Rockefeller, yellowtail crudo. And we shared the steak sliders. (My husband got the lamb lollipops and calamari) See Scottsdale Restaurant Reviews.

Monday -- up to Flagstaff for a day of skiing at Snowbowl!

Coffee with toast and some banana (heading out early for a ski day!)

Packed lunch - roasted chicken sandwiches with broccoli sprouts, havarti and olive-jalapeno spread. Carrots and bell pepper as sides.

Ate out in Flagstaff before the 2 1/2 hour drive back home. Diablo Burger...delicious! See Flagstaff Restaurant Reviews.

Tuesday

1/2 roasted chicken sandwich with broccoli sprouts, havarti and homemade olive-jalapeno spread (leftovers)

simple green salad - dark leafy greens from my garden, carrots, red bell pepper...dressing - shallot, EVOO and red wine vinegar.

Grilled Pork Chops (brining since Saturday) and beet-carrot salad. Homemade apple crisp.

Wednesday

Beet and rasberry smoothie.

1/2 roasted chicken sandwich with broccoli sprouts, havarti and homemade olive-jalapeno spread (leftovers)

Out for sushi at Sushi Sen - yellowtail sashimi, crab roll

Thursday

Egg over sauteed garlicky collard greens (from my garden).

From freezer - homemade beef biryani and naan

Miso salmon with wild rice and leftover beet-carrot salad


(Get sourdough loaves started & rest in fridge overnight)

Friday

Beet and blood orange smoothie, piece of fresh homemade sourdough toast

leftovers from yesterday's lunch

Prime Filet with twice-baked potatoes and green garden salad with fresh shallot-olive vinaigrette
