Lasagne, Caesar Salad and Frozen Strawberry Pie

The lasagne and strawberry pie recipes can both be found at #magnolia but I have to apologize to #JoannaGaines for being so messy with my strawberry garnish on my pie top. By the time I finished getting this meal together, I had some hungry family members and no-one cared about the pretty factor of my pie. For the salad, I used a mix of greens and my own caesar dressing. I use my mini food processor and add 2-3 good whole anchovies, EVOO, fresh squeezed lemon juice, a spoonful of capers, a little of the caper juice, fresh smashed garlic, Kosher salt, a few grinds of pepper, and some finely grated fresh parmesan. I just taste it and add a little more of whatever is needed to give it that yummy sharp bite and creamy texture that I love. Then I let the dressing sit for about 30mn before everyone is called to the table. Lastly, I quickly toss it with the lettuce. On the occasions where I crave croutons on my caesar salad, I'll toast my homemade sourdough crumbs in butter, or I'll melt some parmesan on a cookie sheet and break up the crumbles. I didn't do either for this meal, because it already contained enough carbs and cheese. :-)
