I love hosting dinner parties, as much as I enjoy attending them at the homes of family or friends. It's an additional delight when the menu is coordinated for dishes to compliment one another, or to offer a few alternate but similar options for those who may have food restrictions. Creating the menu from scratch can be burdensome for some, but I enjoy the process. I've created the menus below for some of my own dinner parties, and for anyone else who would like to host a dinner party with a provided menu.
I've named my dinner parties "Gourmet Get-Together" because I want to copy my mom. And we both love to cook and have taken a series of gourmet or French classical cooking classes. I have a book of the dinner parties she hosted with 3 of her "besties" so I've decided to organize my menus the same way.
