Dec 23, 2023 - My "Pretty, Please" photo of the week - This is a picture of a 4" x 6" print that I purchased on the High Line in July 2023, in NYC. It's propped up near my desk and love the color and floral layers, deightfully brought indoors, where a chair invites rest...a happy place! The High Line is a special place for me...and this print reminds me why...the thoughtful smart architecture, the views, and the contrast...the lush Wonderland hidden above and within the stark steel of the city.

A VERY FULL HOUSE THIS WEEK! Kids home for Christmas...yay!!

Short ribs, with Chile-bourbon gravy, skin-on mashed potatoes, and a cold chopped saladwith tahini-lemon dressing (radish, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, green onion, carrot)
