If you are interested in nutrient-dense cooking and homemade pantry staples, clean eating, traditional/homestead cooking, or healing foods, I hope this site offers you some fresh ideas or inspiration. I'm not a professional cook, but spending time in the kitchen re-fuels me and brings me great joy.  I also have a full time job that I love, but fitting in some time each day to make home-cooked meals is a priority for me.

Nourishment means many things to me...not just a nutritious meal, but also a quiet evening in front of a fire with a great book, china and serveware with stories & history, beautiful artistic fabrics, family gatherings, a warm and welcoming table, old-fashioned hospitality, flowers, friendship, a special dinner out, gardens, a rich education for all...some of these other nourishing "joys" have made their way into this blog/site as well.
